Socks For Christmas

Kicking off December with a massively busy week but I love being busy so this week is super exciting for me. As it is the festive month of the year I have promised lots of Christmassy posts to get you all feeling more in the spirit of Christmas with present ideas, stocking fillers and pretty party outfits...which brings me to my first one of the month!

When I was younger I hated getting socks for christmas, it was always a stocking filler that I overlooked and didn't care for...I am only 22 but now I LOVE socks. Cute socks, warm socks, over sized knee high socks; warm feet are happy feet in my opinion. The phase of the frill is passing and something needs to fill that gap.

The wonderful brand Stance UK have teamed up with Roo's Beach shop in Porth and embraced this notion of socks for Christmas by creating a range especially for that. These stag socks are my favourite from their christmas range and I cannot express how warm they are. When I'm blogging or having an afternoon in my flat I tend to just wear socks to pad around in and these are ideal to keep my toes warm and feet snug.

All of the socks for christmas range are so snuggly with lovely quirky patterns which are perfect for any stocking filler. With shorts socks to over the knee socks there is no chance the winter is going to freeze your tootsies. So if you're wondering what to get the awkward Uncle, your Mum who has everything or your Dad who never says what he wants, give their feet some love and wrap them up in some Stance festiveness.

Give warmth, Give love, Give socks! YAY!

Coffee Break

Whenever I'm in London it always seems like there is never enough hours in the day. I never get to do everything I want to fit in when I'm down here. Having a little break to sit and watch the busy world go by is one of them. Even though it was short I was able to have a little sit down just off Oxford Street to have a naughty caramel mocha treat. After all the walking I did I definitely need it. Also here is a sneak peak at my beautiful new handbag from TopShop. I'm sure you'll all be able to spot this in many shoots and maybe a little feature on it soon. Definitely need to book time down here just to have some exploring and reflecting days without any busy appointments and rushed schedules. The perfect city to get lost in.

Favourite Places

We all have our favourite places to hide away in, to think in, to just escape the world and this week I have been back in one of mine. I love being in Manchester wondering around finding new little shops and places, and although it is very mainstream there is a Starbucks that I love to go to. Sat with a sundried tomato and mozzarella panini and my favourite caramel macchiato, hidden away in their down stairs just watching people going about their lives. It's just a comforting place and it wouldn't be a proper trip without a visit here.

Caramel Mocha Frappuccino

Used to literally hate coffee and still do when it comes to black coffee but I really love my mochas. I recently discovered a love for caramel macchiatos but on a hot day I chose to mix my favourites and it came this. Happily surprised to find this was totally delicious, give it a try if you love your sweet tooth and your coffee.

Home

This week I am on the move. Travelling 375 miles north to Manchester, but I couldn't pass through my home town and not see my family. The best thing about family is you can go months without seeing each other but as soon as you're together again it is like you've never been apart. Of course I love the naughty foods and home comforts though. A short stop here then off to Manchester for more exciting adventures, so keep your eyes peeled for new posts!

Cafes.

I find when I'm struggling to see things clearly, or if I'm feeling stressed, going out and finding a quiet coffee shop to reflect in is the best way to calm down. I love watching people walking by, others sat working, just having a small insight into others lives. Everyone is fighting their own battles, they have their own worries, so in a way even though you're sat alone, I always feel comforted in this situation.
Getting lost in your own thoughts with a hot coffee and a tasty treat is definitely one of my outlets.
