Tea, Cake and Two Redheads Part Two

Welcome to the final part to my morning blogging with the beautiful lady, Megan McMinn from BriarRose blog. I promised you super cute outfits and here they are, some outfits and details to inspire you through spring and into summer. 

I was blessed enough to be sent an absolutely beautiful bag from Radley so had to show this off in this post as it's so bright and colourful it's 100% my summer fave. I styled this with nude heels from BillieXShoes and a white dress with floral details from ASOS so the colour really stands out and pops. It really was bag heaven with Megan, her Ted Baker pale pink handbag was to die for and suited her outfit perfectly. 

The last outfit of the morning was my blue and white stripped Jack Wills dress which is an all time favourite of mine. It's so sweet and summery it's always something I can't wait to get out of my wardrobe; it's like a casual cinderella dress. Paired with brown suede wedges from Topshop which are super comfy and perfect in summer when you have garden parties...no sinking into the floor in these babies. 

We finished our morning with more tea and cakes in the garden and planning our next blogging date when Megan is back in Cornwall, hope you come back soon. The sweetest girl I've had the pleasure of meeting and hopefully will meet up with more for coffees and outfit sharing. If you haven't already followed her blog it's theBriarRoseblog.

Macaroon Inspiration

Monday mornings are nearly always stressful; filled with too many jobs for the week and not enough enjoyment. So I decided to take some time out this morning to have some treats and look at inspiration for some shoots for autumn. A mind is only as clear as you let it be...don't over stress yourself, it's a waste of emotion. Take everyday as it comes and stay inspired. 

Favourite Places

We all have our favourite places to hide away in, to think in, to just escape the world and this week I have been back in one of mine. I love being in Manchester wondering around finding new little shops and places, and although it is very mainstream there is a Starbucks that I love to go to. Sat with a sundried tomato and mozzarella panini and my favourite caramel macchiato, hidden away in their down stairs just watching people going about their lives. It's just a comforting place and it wouldn't be a proper trip without a visit here. 

Vintage Bridal

Bridal shoots are one of my favourite areas to model in. I always meet lovely people and get to appreciate their talents too, like hair and make up. My hair was put into a fishtail then rolled just under my chin, and the head pieces were all so perfect. The sun even made a welcome appearance. 

This shoot was in such a beautiful place with stunning views of the countryside near Wadebridge Cornwall, UK. I can't say too much about it as the images are being sent to magazines but I cannot wait to share the rest of the images with you all.

Home

This week I am on the move. Travelling 375 miles north to Manchester, but I couldn't pass through my home town and not see my family. The best thing about family is you can go months without seeing each other but as soon as you're together again it is like you've never been apart. Of course I love the naughty foods and home comforts though. A short stop here then off to Manchester for more exciting adventures, so keep your eyes peeled for new posts!

Sunday

Sundays are my favourite day of the week. A day to rest, relax, drink tea and have some one to one time with myself.  Being yourself is something you really can do when you're alone and for me the best ideas and plans come on sundays. But also known as funday sunday when day trips get planned with friends. Exciting things are happening for Five Foot Four and I really cannot wait to share them with you all.

Cafes.

I find when I'm struggling to see things clearly, or if I'm feeling stressed, going out and finding a quiet coffee shop to reflect in is the best way to calm down. I love watching people walking by, others sat working, just having a small insight into others lives. Everyone is fighting their own battles, they have their own worries, so in a way even though you're sat alone, I always feel comforted in this situation. 
Getting lost in your own thoughts with a hot coffee and a tasty treat is definitely one of my outlets.

Sweater Weather

The saying, "Sweater Weather Is Better Weather" comes to mind with this shoot. I love wrapping up in jumpers when cold and this shoot on a beach was a perfect time to show off one of my favourite jumpers.
