FatFace - Summer Must Haves

Here are my summer must haves from the new FatFace Summer Shop that are now available. These pieces have been massive Go-To items for my travels in Greece and I'm sure you will be able to see why. 

The ultimate holiday cover up has now been made and found. I love lace and crochet details and this Harlyn Crochet Cover Up is perfect with it's detailed sleeves and middle panel. Still letting that warm breeze cool you down but thin enough to over heat you. I found this so great for evenings on the beach and once I thought my shoulders were burnt enough for the day ;) The detail in this cover is just beautiful, the side panels have different texture to the middle and the thin cotton sleeves keep it comfy and able to flutter in the breeze. 

Of course this cover up has to be paired with the perfect bikini...introducing the Rib Strip Sport Top and Pants...these were my comfort swimwear all holiday. Super comfy and with the 3D ribbing on the bikini it was a bit different to standard prints. These complemented the cover up so well and they were ridiculously supportive when swimming underwater and snorkelling all day long.

Greece is full of the famous white buildings, blue skies and blue waters which makes this place just heavenly. The new Kirsty Strip Dress reflects Greece perfectly for me and was so gorgeous next to the flowing the pink flowers down the building sides. A classic summer dress that will be worn when I'm home on loads of summer occasions. Such a sweet length too and perfect for exploring the little streets in Lindos. 

No summer holiday is complete without comfy bright flip flops. In summer I personally hate wearing shoes and I live in flip flops so for me finding ones that don't rub in between the toes and don't make the bottoms of your feet ache is super hard. But from day one these Pease Printed Flip Flops were complete comfort. No rubbing, seriously spongy so no achy feet and I love the boho pattern. These are a big must have from me for your summer wardrobe and your travels.

FatFace - Washed In Happiness

The weather has been amazing lately and sunshine always makes everyone so much happier. As does receiving a wonderful hamper of happiness from one of my favourite brands to celebrate their brand spanking new summer collection...thank you FatFace.

There are absolute beauties in this collection which I will be dragging out all summer. The Anasofie Sand Dunes blouse is a big favourite for me, paired with their Ripped Denim Shorts it's the ultimate chilled out vibe for beach days or afternoons exploring the country. Anyone who knows me will notice I love a good tassel on my clothes and this blouse has the sweetest detailing in their drop tassels that tie at the neck to give you a boho feel to your outfit.

This is a big love of mine as I love a cute jumper in summer but find with dark colours it can be a little sad when you have to put it on as you feel a bit defeated, but this creamy colour is beautiful in the sunshine.

If you love the Sand Dunes print as much as I do your new summer dress beauty will be Felicity Coral Sand Dunes dress. It's a fabulous length which, if I'm honest, didn't think I'd be able to pull off. Being 5"4 can be a bit of problem when searching for summer dresses. As this one if just above knee length I thought it would make me look shorter but it flows effortlessly in the wind and moves with you body to create a magical flirty dress for summer days. It's a huge hit with me and keep your eyes open for this beaut when I head off to Rhodes.

Jackets can also be a bit depressing in summer...you don't want to wear a jacket, it's sunny! But the new Denim Jacket is the best exception. Denim blue screams sunshine to me and over the top of the Sand Dunes dress it makes for a bright, happy outfit that anyone would be proud to strut around in all day on those cooler summer days. I have found in the past a lot of denim jackets can be uncomfortable when first bought. They can be too stiff and you find yourself pulling at the sleeves or trying to stretch them out so they feel more worn to your shape. I am happy to announce this Pennymoor Denim Jacket is already worn in, soft and loose so you can put it on straight away and feel like you've had it years. It's super soft and I've overcome my fear of new denim.

Palladium Fresh

Everyone loves the classic white shoe come Spring and Summer. It's fresh, looks great with anything and most importantly, it's super comfy! So I'm bringing you a new option to the fresh white table. Introducing Palladium Boots, which are now available in Topshop...making this super easy for you guys to get your hands on these hot booties. 

I love the fresh white kicks look, it makes you feel a bit more secure that the weather is more on your side so you know they aren't going to get caked in mud. But they also look chic with basically anything. Dresses, skirts, jeans, whatever. So I opted to style my Palladium Boots with my ripped knee jeans from River Island and a off the should sweater from Topshop which I bought a few sizes too big for that extra comfiness. Topping my look with my cat-eye sunnies also from River Island.

It feels pretty incredible walking around without a massive coat and knee high boots to keep warm and this is fast becoming a favourite S/S'16 outfit for me. 

I chose the low cut white boots, but they do high tops in white and black in Topshop but a whole loads of other designs on their website. The grip is a super big part of why I love these boots because my vans were useless. They would get really slippery on wet floors and their lack of grip wasn't ideal for the amount I walk and spend time exploring.

Take Me To The Weekend

Like most people I am getting so excited for summer to arrive, warmer weather, sun kissed skin, festivals, beach breaks and longer days. Summer is definitely the best season of the year for fun and making memories.  

Festival season is definitely one of the biggest signs that summer has arrived and this post is all about my festival fashion with FatFace*. Their new season line "Take Me To The Weekend" is rammed with pieces that are perfect for festivals and making sure you rock your festival style. Festivals are my favourite part of summer, along with weekends at the beach and exploring new places with friends. For this feature with  FatFace* I have styled the super comfy Dungarees and the gorgeous Chester Crochet Kimono to fit my personal festival style and spent an afternoon creating a lookbook with Griffin Photography for you all.

These are my first pair of dungarees I've owned since I was little and I'm seriously glad I have them now. Their are amazingly comfortable which is great for dancing around and obviously fabulous looking. I paired them with a lace crop top from NewLook, but you can also style it with bright t shirts, other crop tops and shirts to fit your own style. I like to keep my festival fashion pretty casual and comfy for dancing and getting up to anything slightly random after a few drinks. No festival outfit is complete for me without some hot accessories. For this outfit I chose a bright floral headpiece from Holly Young Headwear along with some jewels to add more colour and a boho feel. Festivals can get a little messy and muddy but these dungarees still look super hot with wellies and are still short enough to avoid mud splashes.

My second festival outfit is based around the Ivory FatFace* Kimono, which I need to add is so soft and beautiful it's amazing for festivals that you want to feel more chilled out at but stay looking awesome. I styled it with my Levi cut off shorts and a tassel top from Topshop. I love floaty clothing at festivals that move with you when you dance and make you stand out and this is an outfit I cannot wait to rock this summer. I changed up the headpiece to a more neutral colour but kept the turquoise necklace, which matches perfectly with my tassle bag I picked up on my travels in thailand. I love the boho vibes that float around festivals lately, all taking huge inspiration from the one and only Coachella festival. I style my outfits heavily around these vibes and my jewellery pieces from Tegen Jewellery fit in so well to this, especially the triangle necklace and silver bangles. 

No matter what your plans are for your summer weekends these two beautiful pieces are a must for your summer wardrobe. Beach days in your dungarees or just a country walk in the sun with the chester kimono to give you some protection, both are a must have for adventures. And remember the best accessory you need with these is definitely a smile and good times, it's all about having fun after all!
