For The Love of Roll Necks

I have a large obsession with roll neck jumpers at the moment. Every since I bought my first one (pictured) and now I can't stop pinning them and looking at them in shops. I like to think of it as a healthy obsession as it isn't drugs or anything horrific, therefore it's ok and once I get enough I think I will be fine about the whole thing. Love wearing my roll necks with necklaces, some smaller like this opalite choker and some big statement necklaces. Perfect for everyday wear or going out they can dressed up to look fabulous.

Still have to find the perfect roll neck dress though, basically an oversized jumper that I can wear with my knee high boots. Cosy, comfy and warm. All the elements I care about in winter. Thankfully now I am back down south it isn't half as cold as it was up north at my family home.

Anyway, I want to do lots more things involving all my lovely readers this year so I will be doing more requests for my youtube and chats on my facebook page (facebook.com/fivefootfourfashion) which anyone can be involved in so if you have anything you want to suggest for my youtube channel or any help/advice you need just drop me a message.

First Selfies of 2015

A New Year full of firsts to be taken so I'm starting with my first selfies of the year. As you all know when you try take a good photo of yourself it usually takes a good couple of dozen until there is even one you like. The rest get deleted and one gets used. People think it's just since phones with cameras on the front that this has been happening but no, I used to take photos on my DSLR and go through the same process...think it's just a complex we all have now.

It isn't very often my face had a day of working well with me so I decided to show my first 4 of the year. Since New Years Day I've basically stayed in my little flat getting to know it again and doing uni work so thankfully I haven't needed to put anything on my face. A good few days for my face to breath and be covered in masks and face scrubs to get it feeling baby fresh again. I also really love my new MAC lippy (that I'm wearing in these photos) which I will be sharing with you soon as I'm overly excited about it.

So YAY for selfies and I hope your first Monday back at work/in education isn't that horrific.

Treat Your Skin

After a lovely christmas holiday full of eating our weight in home comforts, drinking mulled wine and getting dressed up for parties it's all coming to an end; which I am struggling to come to terms with as I love a good festive holiday. But with the cold weather and all this strain it's time to treat your skin and help it recover as well as making you feel ready to hit 2015 hard as we all start going back to school, uni and work. If you have been lucky enough to receive some christmas money that you haven't already spent on clothes in the sales like I did then this is something I can't recommend enough. The perfect investment for perfect skin.

A gorgeous gift set full of 3 amazing products that I use religiously 2/3 times a week. I have already written an in depth feature on these products on here but I had to show you how lush the gift set is. Each set has the White Tea Balancing Cream which helps restore your skin to it's natural balance, the amazing Black Peel Off Mask which helps remove blackheads as well as looking amazing when you wear it, and the ultimate product, the Scrub Mask which I am totally obsessed with as it leaves your skin feeling icy and fresh.

Lets start this year with fresh and perfect skin!

Winter is Golden

Last year (still weird saying that as it was only 2 days ago but still) I did a gold themed shoot which has to be one of my favourite shoots ever. It was so much fun and my team were just amazing. You can still watch the Behind the Scenes Vlog of this shoot on my youtube channel inclusing make up changes and how i got this hair. But now I can finally show you some of the final images from this shoot.

We produced two different looks, one much softer than the other but both equally amazing. I still can't get over how gorgeous the dress was and how well it fitted me, if it was mine I'd wear to bed. It's also so lovely when you work with people who put you at ease at make you feel like you're around friends, which I like to consider them as now. This is definitely one of the more smiley shoots I've done, so many giggles on this day and a very fond memory of 2014. This was the perfect shoot to do just before christmas, so much sparkle and magic and I cannot wait to do other big shoots this year. Need to push myself out my comfort zone more this year with shoots and see how far I can get.

Dream big and believe in yourself. No one can reach your goals but you, so don't let anyone get in the way and tell you otherwise. The people who tell you that you can't do it...let them be your motivation and prove them wrong!
