FatFace - Washed In Happiness

The weather has been amazing lately and sunshine always makes everyone so much happier. As does receiving a wonderful hamper of happiness from one of my favourite brands to celebrate their brand spanking new summer collection...thank you FatFace.

There are absolute beauties in this collection which I will be dragging out all summer. The Anasofie Sand Dunes blouse is a big favourite for me, paired with their Ripped Denim Shorts it's the ultimate chilled out vibe for beach days or afternoons exploring the country. Anyone who knows me will notice I love a good tassel on my clothes and this blouse has the sweetest detailing in their drop tassels that tie at the neck to give you a boho feel to your outfit.

It's a fabulous length which, if I'm honest, didn't think I'd be able to pull off. Being 5"4 can be a bit of problem when searching for summer dresses. As this one if just above knee length I thought it would make me look shorter but it flows effortlessly in the wind and moves with you body to create a magical flirty dress for summer days. It's a huge hit with me and keep your eyes open for this beaut when I head off to Rhodes.

Jackets can also be a bit depressing in summer...you don't want to wear a jacket, it's sunny! But the new Denim Jacket is the best exception. Denim blue screams sunshine to me and over the top of the Sand Dunes dress it makes for a bright, happy outfit that anyone would be proud to strut around in all day on those cooler summer days. I have found in the past a lot of denim jackets can be uncomfortable when first bought. They can be too stiff and you find yourself pulling at the sleeves or trying to stretch them out so they feel more worn to your shape. I am happy to announce this Pennymoor Denim Jacket is already worn in, soft and loose so you can put it on straight away and feel like you've had it years. It's super soft and I've overcome my fear of new denim.

Spring is such a beautiful season, where flowers start to blossom against the winter branches, the grass gets greener and the days open up for longer. But the only downside is, it's still pretty chilly.

This however is my answer to all the windy spring days ahead. The Gold Label Cape from HollandCooper is not only beautiful and effortlessly eye catching but it's super snuggly too. It's such a stunning statement piece but also perfect for walks, city breaks or just going out with friends for the day. Every occasion, this piece is purely perfect. 

The wonderful British brand HollandCooper prides itself on being high end British beauty. They use the most incredible Scottish tweeds in their pieces along with high end leathers and suedes to create some truly inspiring and beautiful items that you will love from the day they arrive.

This specific beauty (Gold Label Fur Cape in Brown Herringbone) is from HollandCooper's petite section, which for me is perfect as I am 5'4 capes can often swamp me, but with the perfect tailoring and length it only compliments my height. Naturally this creates a boost in confidence making me feel amazing when I wear it. It has a super snug fur hood too which keeps the spring breeze at bay and keeps you looking amazing even when it's chilly. I just love how this colour goes so well with my hair and making it pop out of the outfit. Not only does it look amazing but it is unbelievably comfy to wear. Can you tell I'm a little obsessed?

Oh Baby It's Cold Outside...

Snow has finally fallen and it finally feels like winter has come at last. Christmas was a little too warm for my liking, no need for hot chocolates or thick knits and hats, but now I can fully embrace the cold. And what better timing for my absolutely stunning Regina heeled boots from Fairfax&Favor to arrive! 

Fairfax&Favor are one of my favourite brands that I have been following for a few years now and it's such an honour to work with them...I'm pretty sure from the photos you can see why, their boots are to die for! They are a beautifully British brand with a strong country feel but these boots are going to be worn around everywhere and with the heeled option they are perfect for city outfits. Seriously comfortable and the sizing is incredible, and with the slightly elastic seams down the back of the boot, it makes for the perfect fit on the foot and all the way up the calf. They feel like they were made for me. 

The perfect winter boot for keeping warm so you can wear cosy knitted long socks underneath and not let that chill into your feet. I had to get out into the snow to show the beautiful colour off and well...it's snow, so the perfect reason to get outside and have some fun! I know a lot of you love this kind of style and if you still haven't found that wow factor fashion piece to spend your christmas money on I can't recommend these more! Berries & Knits

Autumnal outfits are all I'm thinking about right now, the air is getting crisper but the sun is still warm enough to make you smile as it warms your back. So naturally I have to share more snuggly outfits with you to help you all embrace Autumn and get your knits on. 

I am pretty obsessed with my green tartan skirt from Missguided that I can't seem to stop wearing at the minute, I'm sure you've seen it on instagram a few times. It's a perfect piece to wear with a jumper, a shirt or just a t-shirt tucked in if it's a bit warmer. Ankle boots, knee highs or over the need boots are all totally hot with it too. BIG favourite right now!

And yeah as we know it's getting to the stage when we leave the house it's all dewy and you can see your breath (not the best wake up call) but hey we have to dress for the occasion. Queue heavy knits! Big knits are something I happily welcome into my life, I'm a snuggler not a tolerator, I like being wrapped up. Double knits are even better, over sized jumpers and massive scarves (from fatface and H&M) are ALWAYS a good idea when it's cold and it's like wearing a big hug at all times, so why not?
