Oh Baby It's Cold Outside...

Snow has finally fallen and it finally feels like winter has come at last. Christmas was a little too warm for my liking, no need for hot chocolates or thick knits and hats, but now I can fully embrace the cold. And what better timing for my absolutely stunning Regina heeled boots from Fairfax&Favor to arrive! 

Fairfax&Favor are one of my favourite brands that I have been following for a few years now and it's such an honour to work with them...I'm pretty sure from the photos you can see why, their boots are to die for! They are a beautifully British brand with a strong country feel but these boots are going to be worn around everywhere and with the heeled option they are perfect for city outfits. Seriously comfortable and the sizing is incredible, and with the slightly elastic seams down the back of the boot, it makes for the perfect fit on the foot and all the way up the calf. They feel like they were made for me. 

The perfect winter boot for keeping warm so you can wear cosy knitted long socks underneath and not let that chill into your feet. I had to get out into the snow to show the beautiful colour off and well...it's snow, so the perfect reason to get outside and have some fun! I know a lot of you love this kind of style and if you still haven't found that wow factor fashion piece to spend your christmas money on I can't recommend these more! I'll be styling these in a few different ways over the next few weeks so you can see how versatile they are for street fashion or casual everyday.

Here is my final halloween post from the countdown. This is the halloween shoot I did as a dark glam witch. Black is just the best colour for an occasion but its perfect for halloween given it's all about darkness and horror so I went with dark glitz and glam for the look on this shoot for Griffin Photography's halloween cover.

I absolutely loved this look and the make up was just incredible. There is no such thing as too much glitter and sparkle, so this theme ran right through the shoot. A statement sequin dress from TopShop showed off the amazing jewellery from GlitzySecrets. All made even more epic by the gold and black glitter eye make up. It does help the effect that my eyes were being an especially weird colour in this shoot that somehow matched my hair making it even more creepy. Not all halloween costumes have to be blood, gore and death, so I felt this shoot added a new slant on the holiday, a chance to be whatever you want.

Still getting used to having red hair after so many years being blonde but this shoot is definitely one of my favourites to date, it is also the perfect time to be really pale and proud. Any excuse to dress up and get covered in glitter. I hope you all have an amazing Halloween, whether you're off to a party, going out or going trick or treating. Stay safe and don't scare too many people!

1 Day Till Halloween - Black Lace

Tomorrow is Halloween so this is my second post to bring you some dark inspiration for your outfits. This black lace bralet by CelebLook is perfect for a dark glam outfit may it be vampire themed or lacy witch. (Just to make it clear that I am not wearing white makeup...i really just am that pale that I glow) The detail of the bralet screams elegance with the fine fringes and the zip up the back. It's a great chance for an all black everything outfit and would be perfectly paired with the statement set on yesterdays post. Halloween isn't always about the costume and if you wanted to focus more on your make up with a haunting face this would compliment your art skills perfectly.

As well as Halloween being all about dark shades, this delicate bralet is beautiful even in the day. Paired with a coat or blazer to keep the autumn winds off, high waisted jean, heels or boots it makes a wonderful seasonal statement for this time of year. Lace is one of my favourite things when it comes to clothing and the detail on this is just so classy I can't seem to wear it enough.

Halloween Countdown

Blakely Beaut

BlakelyClothing have some amazing items but this is by far my favourite. Pale pink and white tie dye is totally different to anything I normally wear and I love it! Looks great with jeans as I styled it in the shoot but also tucked in with a high waisted skirt for drinks out. I believe you can never wear an item too much and this is exactly the case with the Beaut top. The Beaut fits perfectly with the shoot, the nautical theme of their brand comes through but it is also so beautiful in the evening with the late autumn light in the country. Cannot recommend this amazing brand enough, so friendly with unique designs that I cannot get enough of! Time to stand out from your friends and bring something new to the table.

Hunt For Colour

Craving the sun on my skin again from this summer. I have been so lucky the last few months with opportunities that have been handed to me, the travelling I have done and I really am so grateful for it all. I thought I'd share this Europe inspired shoot with you all today in keeping with heartache for sunshine.

I'm so in love with the bright colours of flowers and houses in Europe. They always make the place feel otherworldly and give off the best vibes. You can't really be stroppy standing outside a bright orange house can you? But how amazing are the colours of this place? Hot pink flowers, turquoise shutters, orange walls; and so tucked away, like a diamond in the rough. I find no matter where you are, if you look hard enough you will always find somewhere that is beautiful and bright; you just have to hunt for it. There is beauty behind every corner, train yourself to see it and everything becomes that little bit more magical. 

It's becoming sweater weather and this oversized knit is one of my favourite items for autumn, comfy and slouchy - always the best. Everyone loves comfy clothes, it's definitely one of my weaknesses. Oversized jumpers, sweat pants and uggs are the best for cold days. I'm secretly really looking forward to winter because of this reason alone.

Macaroon Inspiration

Monday mornings are nearly always stressful; filled with too many jobs for the week and not enough enjoyment. So I decided to take some time out this morning to have some treats and look at inspiration for some shoots for autumn. A mind is only as clear as you let it be...don't over stress yourself, it's a waste of emotion. Take everyday as it comes and stay inspired. 

Classy Winchester

Some of you may have seen this watch feature on my Wish List post a few weeks ago and it's finally arrived. Love how classy and unique Daniel Wellington watches are so beautiful I just couldn't help myself. Keeping with my rose gold obsession I opted for the Classy Winchester. A small rose gold watch with Swarovski crystals on the face; this is my new perfect timepiece. Its ultra thin face makes it the perfect everyday watch, with the ability to dress it up or dress it down. 

Daniel Wellington have created statement watches which are easily recognisable with its unique faces and classic colour schemes. I absolutely love their watches and I'm sure this is just the start of many. Not to mention it's my two favourite colours mixed with my favourite colour metal. This will be appearing in many more shoots and outfit in the future.

The Crop - Blakely Clothing

Blakely Clothing has to be one of my favourite brands right now, high quality clothing with new off the high street designs. Here is one of my favourites, The Crop. The hot weather is nearly over but it's a perfect autumn top with no restrictions. Super comfy and great for staying in or going out, can't recommend it enough. 

I styled it with high waisted jeans and black heeled boots for this shoot. Having it off one shoulder mixes the look up a bit and with the size being a small it's not too over sized that it's uncomfortable or annoying to wear as some off the shoulder tops can be. 

BlakelyClothing have a distinct look and feel about the brand which I can't get enough of so expect more shoots on more of my favourite items.
