Gold Label

Spring is such a beautiful season, where flowers start to blossom against the winter branches, the grass gets greener and the days open up for longer. But the only downside is, it's still pretty chilly.

This however is my answer to all the windy spring days ahead. The Gold Label Cape from HollandCooper is not only beautiful and effortlessly eye catching but it's super snuggly too. It's such a stunning statement piece but also perfect for walks, city breaks or just going out with friends for the day. Every occasion, this piece is purely perfect.

The wonderful British brand HollandCooper prides itself on being high end British beauty. They use the most incredible Scottish tweeds in their pieces along with high end leathers and suedes to create some truly inspiring and beautiful items that you will love from the day they arrive.

This specific beauty (Gold Label Fur Cape in Brown Herringbone) is from HollandCooper's petite section, which for me is perfect as I am 5'4 capes can often swamp me, but with the perfect tailoring and length it only compliments my height. Naturally this creates a boost in confidence making me feel amazing when I wear it. It has a super snug fur hood too which keeps the spring breeze at bay and keeps you looking amazing even when it's chilly. I just love how this colour goes so well with my hair and making it pop out of the outfit. Not only does it look amazing but it is unbelievably comfy to wear. Can you tell I'm a little obsessed?

This sensational piece of clothing is totally up their with my favourites, being completely diverse enough to wear in the country or out in the city.

Winter Wondering

Exploring and finding new places to adventure is something I've always loved doing and as the crisp winter air finally hit, it was time to venture out in the cold and feel properly alive. We stumbled across these old remains of a house and decided to shoot you a blog post on one of my favourite winter outfits.

White is always a beautiful colour to wear in winter. I for one am totally guilty for wanting to do all-black-everything everyday of the week but I need to branch out into bright colours when the rains and the cold sets in. This is one of my all time classics, my cable knit jumper from Jack Wills, it's super warm and great for layering when it's freezing. I wore a little shirt underneath so I had a pastel colour poking out by my neck so my pale skin doesn't totally disappear into my sweater. (Funny but serious)

It was of course another perfect opportunity to show off my Fairfax & Favour boots that I can't get enough of, The quality of them is just amazing and totally worth every penny. The option to personalise them and fit the colour to your outfit with the interchangeable tassels on the zips is such a beautiful quality these boots have. (you've already seen the colour pop of the blue in my snowy blog post but I just adore them)  I really can't wait for spring so I can show these babies off in spring wear. The tan colour brings the outfit to life and stops it from being completely dull.

My jeans are my safety net, everyone has that one pair of jeans you wear till they die...and even then you still wear them because you can't bring yourself to throw them away. Thankfully these jeans are not done yet but they are my favourite. As i'm petite it is a total nightmare trying to find jeans that fit all your measurements but honestly these JONI jeans from Topshop fit like a glove.

I'm dying for the warmer weather so we can do more fun blog posts with brighter colours and sunshine but I have some totally different experiments coming this year and over june there will be some really new things I haven't done on the blog before, I'm so exciteddd...roll on summer!!!

Rosie Fortescue Jewellery Launch

Last week held the Launch Party for Rosie Fortescue's new jewellery range at the Sanderson Hotel, London and it finally went on sale yesterday with help from jewellery master DuttsonRocks.

The launch was of course totally flawless and the jewels are something else. With jewelled earcuffs, torque necklaces and bracelets and statement rings that you can stack up your fingers to your hearts content, it's safe to say Rosie has created a masterpiece collection.

My favourite pieces were definitely the crown rings available here, her stunning earcuffs available here and her statement necklace with coloured stones available here. The layout was beautiful and accompanied by her Collection video which captured the bright colours, the vibe and the style of Rosie herself. The atmosphere around the collection was welcoming and warmed by Jo Malone candles and delicate country flowers. A piece of art in it's own right. All washed down with Bombay Sapphire who kindly sponsored the event and kept everyone in high spirits under the outside heaters of the courtyard in the Sanderson Hotel.

There are definitely pieces from this that will be on my christmas list and if you want to shop the whole range you can find it at rosiefortescuejewellery.com

Autumn Pinafore

Autumn is by far one of my favourite seasons. The explosion of energy from nature to create the perfect colour palettes and naturally flawless surroundings. I love being around the deep oranges, reds and browns. Such a bright season even though it's getting colder. But thats the other reason I love it, the air gets crisp, fresh, chiller but on some days the weather is warm enough not to fully wrap up like in winter. Autumnal sunshine is truly beautiful and warms you to the bones.

For days just like this I wear this outfit, specifically when I go to London as I love that smart casual look but also wear the hell out of my over the knee boots in autumn. This cute pinafore is a diamond for autumnal dressing and it's totally versatile. I wear it with my cropped white roll neck from Missguided but also pair it with a white shirt on chillier days.

Monochrome is always a good idea in my eyes so with my black Topshop hat, Missguided white pullover, Topshop black pini and GarageShoes over the knee black boots, yeah you could say this is definitely one of my favourite outfits. Roll on autumn and all the snug outfits that come with it. More autumn outfit posts coming soon!

Rock Envy Hair Crush

The most fun I've had on a shoot to date was a recent shoot for Rock Envy Hair Extensions. I've never had the need to buy extensions as I have long hair and wearing them to make my hair thicker, had volume and bounce never even crossed my mind...until I wore the Vibrant Auburn RockEnvy Volumiser piece and I fell in love with how amazing my hair felt. It was thick and full, not to mention a perfect colour match to add tones through my hair. With only the highest quality hair used, it wasn't surprising that it genuinely felt like my own hair and I couldn't even find them when it came to taking them out.

For those of you who use hair extensions for length, volume or whatever reason look no further, I wouldn't recommend anyone else. It was super easy to style into my hair and held like normal hair, it was amazing how the curls were falling as fast as my actual hair into lush loose waves...as you can tell it looks like completely natural hair on all the models. Gorgeous pieces in different sizes for different application and also the most beautiful clip in hair accessories with blue feathers, perfect for festivals.

Find your perfect extensions on ROCKENVY's website or their facebook page!

Definitely my summer must have!
