Hello and Welcome to Five Foot Four.

I am a student at Falmouth University and I'm also a model based in Cornwall, UK. I started this blog so I can fuel my fashion urges and show you guys what I get up to behind the scenes; so enjoy, like, follow and share!

As I'm not too sure what to share with you first, I'll show you the first ever shoot I did here which was a winter fashion inspired shoot.

Cafes.

I find when I'm struggling to see things clearly, or if I'm feeling stressed, going out and finding a quiet coffee shop to reflect in is the best way to calm down. I love watching people walking by, others sat working, just having a small insight into others lives. Everyone is fighting their own battles, they have their own worries, so in a way even though you're sat alone, I always feel comforted in this situation. 
Getting lost in your own thoughts with a hot coffee and a tasty treat is definitely one of my outlets.

Start Story

Some of you have been sending in messages asking how I got into modelling so I thought I'd write a post telling you the story.
I started working for DeJetleyMarks Photography last summer (2013) helping with shoots and directing when the photographer asked if I wanted to have a shoot done. Although you can't really do anything wrong I was nervous as I' never done it before. When I moved down to Falmouth and began modelling here I was still nervous but with each shoot my confidence grew and I became more relaxed in front of the camera. For me it's my therapy and I can't imagine my life without it now.
This was one of my first shoots, which turned out to very popular with the public when it featured as the front cover of a local online magazine.

Sweater Weather

The saying, "Sweater Weather Is Better Weather" comes to mind with this shoot. I love wrapping up in jumpers when cold and this shoot on a beach was a perfect time to show off one of my favourite jumpers.

TopShop Details

Manchester is a wonderful city to get lost in. Although I always seem to find my way to a TopShop. Summer is coming up fast so time to bring in some fresh colours for the sunshine. 

Whites are classic and always so fresh in summer, love my cropped tee with flower details on the sleeves and bottom. 

Pale blue jeans have always been something I've been scared of but finally bit the bullet and now I can't stop wearing them! Great fit all round!

My beautiful black pumps are great for smart and great for lunch dates out, black and gold with forever be a favourite combination of mine.
