Take Me To The Weekend

Like most people I am getting so excited for summer to arrive, warmer weather, sun kissed skin, festivals, beach breaks and longer days. Summer is definitely the best season of the year for fun and making memories.

Festival season is definitely one of the biggest signs that summer has arrived and this post is all about my festival fashion with FatFace*. Their new season line "Take Me To The Weekend" is rammed with pieces that are perfect for festivals and making sure you rock your festival style. Festivals are my favourite part of summer, along with weekends at the beach and exploring new places with friends. For this feature with  FatFace* I have styled the super comfy Dungarees and the gorgeous Chester Crochet Kimono to fit my personal festival style and spent an afternoon creating a lookbook with Griffin Photography for you all.

These are my first pair of dungarees I've owned since I was little and I'm seriously glad I have them now. Their are amazingly comfortable which is great for dancing around and obviously fabulous looking. I paired them with a lace crop top from NewLook, but you can also style it with bright t shirts, other crop tops and shirts to fit your own style. I like to keep my festival fashion pretty casual and comfy for dancing and getting up to anything slightly random after a few drinks. No festival outfit is complete for me without some hot accessories. For this outfit I chose a bright floral headpiece from Holly Young Headwear along with some jewels to add more colour and a boho feel. Festivals can get a little messy and muddy but these dungarees still look super hot with wellies and are still short enough to avoid mud splashes.

My second festival outfit is based around the Ivory FatFace* Kimono, which I need to add is so soft and beautiful it's amazing for festivals that you want to feel more chilled out at but stay looking awesome. I styled it with my Levi cut off shorts and a tassel top from Topshop. I love floaty clothing at festivals that move with you when you dance and make you stand out and this is an outfit I cannot wait to rock this summer. I changed up the headpiece to a more neutral colour but kept the turquoise necklace, which matches perfectly with my tassle bag I picked up on my travels in thailand. I love the boho vibes that float around festivals lately, all taking huge inspiration from the one and only Coachella festival. I style my outfits heavily around these vibes and my jewellery pieces from Tegen Jewellery fit in so well to this, especially the triangle necklace and silver bangles.

No matter what your plans are for your summer weekends these two beautiful pieces are a must for your summer wardrobe. Beach days in your dungarees or just a country walk in the sun with the chester kimono to give you some protection, both are a must have for adventures. And remember the best accessory you need with these is definitely a smile and good times, it's all about having fun after all!

Shop these pieces and more your weekends away on the FatFace* website!

Festival Teasers

My life is super manic at the moment but I honestly couldn't be happier with the way everything is going and the amazing shoots that I'm doing. I have a super exciting one coming very soon with a fantastic brand that most of you will hopefully be familiar with.

It's been a crazy day with a shoot in a spa this morning and this exciting shoot this afternoon. The sun is out and it's such lovely weather I got my gorgeous friend Holly Kenyon (whom I call my little sister) to take some behind the scenes pictures to share with you all and give you a little hint at what's to come very soon, and of course there are selfies! Perhaps you can guess who the brand is from these teasers?

Can't wait to get the final images and share them with you all and especially for festival season it's going to fit in perfectly!

Cutesie Blue

Happy hump day everyone! Hope you're all having a good week and looking forward to another bank holiday weekend. The weather is slowly getting better and I'm so excited to start spending hours on the beach having BBQs, exploring new places and staying on the beach till sunset. All the best things about summer are yet to come, including our favourite summer outfits.

You guys have seen this dress before but it is one of my all time favourites because it's just so comfy and super cute. Baby blue is definitely in this year and with its sweet little petticoat underneath it's the perfect dress for summer occasions. I wore this back on my 21st birthday but we all have items we never get over and keep wearing whenever we can. This little blue beauty is from Jack Wills and they always have the prettiest summer dresses that you can wear over and over again and last forever, just like this one. Perfect for a casual look for prom, a wedding, a ball, a garden party or just dinner with family and friends. They are after all one of my favourite brands for a reason and their timeless pieces are definitely part of that.

Fairytale Garden

Today is the first day that I'm done as a student! And I'm not going to lie I'm spending all day in bed watching Pretty Little Liars with no stress, worries or having to think about anything...it's awesome! But I definitely have to share this post with you guys and say a massive thank you to everyone for your amazing comments lately. I've been flooded by amazing comments on a couple of my older posts and you guys say the sweetest things so thank you so much!

Before hand in I did a mini shoot in my gorgeous new Jones+Jones dress paired with my new BillieXShoes nude heels. I'm hoping I get invited to a summer event soon so I can actually show this outfit off but this post will do for now. I have a cute little garden near me that I like to go sit in and read in summer and it's so beautiful right now we did the shoot in there. A perfect, sunny afternoon surrounded by flowers in the sweetest of outfits. I hope this inspires some of you guys to go exploring to find some amazing places like this or just that you need this dress in your life...it's adorable!

I'm going to try make some videos this week too so message me if you have anything you want me to vlog about. A big thankyou to Luke Dimech for shooting these lovely images!

Time To Pamper Your Head

This is a super exciting little blog post today on a total game changer by Roots and Rituals; A heated head towel. I have quite long hair so drying it is a work out in itself, which is where this beauty came to the rescue. It's so simple to use, just plug the battery pack into the mains to charge it up, once it's charged attach it to the towel and leave for a few minutes to the towel can heat up. Then wrap your hair up in and relax with a nice warm head. Such a lovely way to relax in the evening, hair up in this, face mask on and just completely chill. (Not to mention it is SUPER soft and fluffy)

Roots and Rituals deep conditioning oil is also something I NEED to mention as it leaves my hair feeling amazing and super shiny and works in perfect harmony with the Hydrating Conditioner. Once I get a bit cut off and all my ends snipped this is something I will be religiously using. Great for those of you who love pampering your hair and giving it a bit of a boost summer. All products using beautiful ingredients including, Avocado, Almonds, Coconut, Argan Oil and more!

All super easy to use, lovely to take some out and spoilt your head a bit and definitely something that is loads of fun and I recommend to others. It is something that does take some time so I use it in the evening when I don't have to rush to get to uni or work. This way it makes it a lot more enjoyable and relaxing!
