New Babies

The world is a little bit against me at the moment, just when I finish my dissertation and get back to being able to blog after a busy week all over the country, I then get flu. Been ages since I've been that poorly but thank you to those of you who have sent me some lovely get well soon messages. I reckon it's down to you that I've recovered so fast! YAY! Just in time to travel to London tomorrow.

I have such an exciting few days in london lined up and will be shooting in these babies as well as some other amazing pieces so what out for that. I wanted to introduce you them before I wear the hell out them this week, but I'm so in love!

These beautiful suede over the knee booties are from GarageShoes, can't wait to model them!

A Day In The 70's

A few days ago I was on location for a 70's style shoot which I cannot express enough how amazing it was. With genuine clothes from the era it was like being thrown back through time. With the best team, a very talented man, Liam Dawson was behind my amazing hair style, the lovely Lindsay Adams creating this magical make up look on me and of course my one and only favourite photographer Emma Griffin was behind these wonderful shots, and trust me the final images are just incredible. Such a wonderful talented women that means so much to me. It was such a fun day out at a breath taking venue.

I can't reveal too much about this shoot as it is for a national magazine but as soon as that is out I can show and tell you everything. Days like these are why I love modelling so much. Creating something amazing that so many people can appreciate and be inspired by.

Bridal Show CatWalk

As promised here are some of the images from Sundays Bridal Catwalk. I still can't believe how much fun it was even though my anxiety nearly crushed me. I have never done a catwalk before as I usually try to avoid them at all costs. The thought of being on stage in front of hundreds of people makes my tummy flip so you can imagine how scared and worried I was backstage that I was going to fall or faint or trip or embarrass myself in some way. But thankfully nothing went wrong and I managed to pull myself together and actually really enjoyed the whole thing. The dresses definitely helped with the confidence as I knew I could walk in them without falling over, and they make you feel so pretty. I guess that is the beauty of wedding dresses.

The first walk I did was in my Mooshki dress, which you have all seen man times already, but I just love it, beautiful lace detail and just so much fun to wear. This was more of a dance routine performance (hence my weird poses in these photos, I don't pose like that normally).

The second walk was in my first Claire Pettibone dress, I can't fault any of the dresses I wore on the day but the Claire Pettibones' are so comfortable you hardly feel like you're wearing a wedding dress at all. The second Pettibone was my favourite purely because of the boho feel with the off shoulder frilly straps and the layering at the bottom that flows around you as you walk. All incredibly stunning dresses which I feel so honoured to model and I cannot wait to get another catwalk under my belt!

Big thankyou to Emma Griffin (Griffin Photography) for the photos, Sally Orchard and her team of make up artists for the flawless make up. Of course a massive thankyou to the designers for creating such amazing pieces, The Bridal House Of Cornwall for the organisation and picking me to model for them. And finally huge thankyou to the models who were the best and sweetest people I have worked with and for keeping me from fainting or freaking out too much and to everyone else involved!

Pancake Love

This is my first pancake away from home but it gave me a chance to test out some yummy ideas. Blueberry pancakes for breakfast this morning some tummy loving Nutella pancakes for dinner, heaven.

Both super easy recipes:

1 Egg
1 Cup of Self Raising Flour
1 Cup of Milk
...Then Whisk

Obviously with the blueberry ones I added in the blueberries and a little sprinkle of cinnamon but the nutella ones I kept the mix plain. Fast, easy and delicious. Hope you have all had a wonderfully sweet day.

Bridal Show Rehearsals

Massive apologies for the lack of posts for the last few days it has been one manic week to say the least. Last minute call to London, rehearsals, shows and shoots but all so worth it and now there is some incredible things to show you on the blog and let you all catch up on it.

These are some photos from the rehearsals last week of the bridal show I modelled at yesterday. It was just such an amazing experience, with a beautiful team of photographers, make up artists and of course models. Couldn't have wished for a better group to work with and all the models did so well and totally smashed the show. More photos from the final show to come this week. (promise) I loved modelling this beautiful dress 'Poppy' by Mooshki and some more beauties coming from Claire Pettibone too.

New Arrivals

Had a beautiful delivery today from the lovely DuttsonRocks, so these were today's essentials that I can't stop looking at. The perfect personalised present for valentines day if you still have no idea what to get your girl. You can personalise the disc on the bracelet with initials or a special message, making this the ideal present for valentines. As well as Rose Gold there is also the silver option which is just as beautiful with diamond detailing by the clasp. I think I have a new favourite.

Can't wait to get to london to see the full collection from DuttsonRocks and shop more in Victoria's Secret, becoming slightly obsessed with lacy pants at the moment. not sure if you can tell. Spring is in the air so time to bright up the wardrobe, all these being the perfect inspiration. More coming from ELLE magazine as I will be testing out Benefit Roller Lash Mascara this week so keep an eye out for that review.

Favourite Everyday Lips

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and a lovely Sunday, I've had a good spring clean of my flat, drunk loads of tea and done some illustrations, so definitely a good Sunday.

I have been asked by a lot of you about what my lipstick is that I've worn in some photos on instagram and twitter lately, which gave me the idea of doing a post on my two favourite everyday lipsticks, both very different price ranges.

The first is one I wear everyday for uni etc from TOPSHOP called Naturist which is almost like a balm in the sense is it moisturising and not matte. It took me forever to find one that suits my skin and hair that isn't too bright for everyday wear but this one adds a little colour to make my face look a little less dead. It looks great with a lipliner, not so much Kylie Jenner but subtle and natural. I was told to go for a browner/bronze based lipstick but they all looked like I had eaten a whole jar of nutella with half on my face, this one is browner but with a hint of pink to make my lips stand out naturally.

TOPSHOP NATURIST £8

My other everyday lipstick which is more of a meetings/modelling everyday lippy is on by MAC cosmetics called MEHR which is a matte lipstick therefore not as moisturising. This has more of a rich colour and is also the one you've been asked about. I love it and with a brighter colour is makes more of a statement without being too bright for everyday use. Again this took me ages to pick as MAC lipsticks are all so perfect I wanted all of them, but this one is lush.

MAC MEHR £15.50
