Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Fairfax & Favor

Breast Cancer is a massive issue not only this month but everyday of our lives. You all probably know someone or know of someone that has suffered from this and every little bit makes a difference in helping us find ways to prevent and overcome this condition for good.

I am so happy to be part of this campaign from Fairfax and Favor to support Breast Cancer Aware Month. Their boots are not only stunning and gorgeous high quality but now they can make a difference to this charity. They have launched a special edition pink boot tassel where 100% of the proceeds go to Cancer Care UK. A beautiful way to help out a huge charity and show off the fact you've helped all in one go. The limited edition piece is crafted in their signature tassel style in a stunning powder pink colour with a custom gold shield. A perfectly beautiful detail to add to your wardrobe this season.

Get yours today* and help raise awareness and money for Cancer Care UK.

...

I love styling my Fairfax and Favor boots around this time of year and at the moment they are proving perfect in this weather, as always. Autumn is my favourite season, the cooler air but still warm enough that you're not freezing and wishing you could get back into bed.

My heavy knit cardigan from Missguided is sorting me out this autumn, super soft and snuggly and a great way to keep the cold air out. Paired with my handmade hat from Holly Young Millinery, a dear friend of mine who makes bespoke hats and the best fashion statement headpieces imaginable. No outfit is complete without a tartan scarf (this ones from Topshop) to add a little colour to the outfit as well as keeping it cosy. Tartan is a little obsession of mine around this time of year, always reminds me christmas is coming. (Sorry to remind you..not!) I also kept with the pink theme from my Breast Cancer Tassel with my Rose Gold Abbott Lyon watch. Comfies all round this season with these must have pieces.

Crochet Crushes

Rat and Boa  - £45
Missguided - £30

Missguided - £35

New look £24.99

H&M £9.99

I can't be the only one channeling my Coachella obsession right now? One day I will make it my mission to go and have the best time ever and if i died there...I honestly wouldn't mind too much. But right now all I can do is obsess over stuff I would wear there! One of the main things I keep finding myself staring at is crochet pieces and as half of them are sold out I thought I'd just blog the pieces instead in hope some of you are sharing this crochet crush too! There are SO many crochet garments I have my eyeballs on at the moment but I just thought I'd share my top few...

So Rat and Boa are seriously hot and I want so many of their items but this amazing crochet dress is something I'm keeping my eyes open for when it comes back in stock. How can you not want that?!

Missguided are pretty hot on the trend of crochet at the moment too providing our shopping habit a lovely outlet that isn't going to set us back by thousands. The crochet jumpers are a total must and I will be getting one asap for my holiday in June...perfect over bikinis to stop my pale fragile skin getting crisped up! But also the beautiful crochet dress in white. Perfect for channeling you inner gypsy soul. I would much prefer to wear this stuff on beaches everyday than face reality...maybe one day.

Crochet waistcoats are pretty awesome too and this tasselly number form New Look is the ideal piece at a festival with a crop top, shorts and maybe some gladiator sandals...

Finally this most perfect crochet dress that I'm dying to purchase but can't as H&M is totally sold out...all the time!!! It's not even a case of I want this...I need it!

Anyway summer is coming and you can expect to see some hippie style outfits coming in soon as I totally love that style! Enjoy.

Tea, Cake and Two Redheads - Part One

I'm back! It's been a crazy week with a very last minute trip to London so apologies for not posting for a few days.

This is the first part to a two part blog feature with the absolutely beautiful Megan McMinn from the BriarRose blog. I was invited to her lovely home, while she was back in cornwall for a few days, for a morning of cakes, tea and shooting some fun pastel themed outfits with my favourite photographer Emma Griffin from Griffin Photography

If you haven't heard of Megan before she is literally one of my favourite bloggers with a wardrobe to die for, so if you love disney, flawless make up and adorable outfits then give her a follow. I for one am totally crushing over her ice cream bag from SkinnyDipLondon, definitely a shop I will be pushing money into in the future.

In the next part of this morning of sweetness there will be cats, polaroids and more super cute outfits!

My outfit:

Coat - MissSelfridge
Crop - Missguided
Skirt - Missguided

Heels On Point

Classic heels for me are something that every girl needs in her wardrobe. The classic court shoe is an absolute must and never dates, however adding something to new the design is always welcome in my eyes. These pair of nude patent heels from BillieXShoes are just beautiful and are definitely my new favourite heels to wear everyday or to dress up in the evening. This classic shoe design will always be classy and feminine and another way to make sure your bum looks super good! Effortlessly feminine and super comfortable.

I styled these babies in a few different ways for you all to see the limitless opportunities to these beauties.

Look One: The everyday look with my baby blue skirt from Missguided and cropped high neck jumper also from Missguided. These nude points are the perfect way to add in another colour and keeping to the pastel theme. Also a great way to accessorise with a nude handbag or clutch.

Look Two: The going out look. Dressing up more glamourous for events but still keeping the classic shoes on trend. Especially with the magical dress from Skinniebelle it is important to me not to drag attention away from the sequin details and bright shine too much, a perfect chance to wear these nude wonders. Keeping your legs looking fabulous without distracting from the dress.

Look Three: Swimwear. I was very lucky to be able to shoot in an adorable swimsuit from Velvette Paris last week which I wanted to create a higher fashion look for by adding in some timeless heels. Giving more height, making you stand tall, straight and making you tense in all the right places, swimwear and heels are always a perfect combo. The colour palette with the purple and nude was also just amazing and they compliment eachother perfectly.

A big must this Spring/Summer is definitely these beauties! Shop them and more shoe crushes here at BillieXShoes
Big thankyou to Holly Kenyon for these lush pics!

Spring Crushes

Spring is rolling in fast and with the weather slowly (very slowly) getting warmer I can't stop looking at outfits ready for the sunshine. Instead of pining over some amazing pieces of fashion I thought I'd put some outfit inspo together for you.

For me, this spring is all about fresh whites and pastels so my first major spring crush is all about white and baby blues. Can't wait to have this baby blue duster coat in my life. Whites and blues look so lovely and summery it's a must this spring after all our winter blues. Paired with some classic nude heels which will never stop being a must for any girls wardrobe.

Coat from Miss Selfridge £59.00
Skirt from Missguided £12.00
Top Missguided £8.00
Heels from GarageShoes £19.99
Bag from Topshop £38.00

Look number 2 is a massive crush of mine as I'm a huge fan of this colour palette. Grey and pink is one of my all time favourite colour combinations so this outfit is perfect for spring with fresh, crisp colours. Big crush on the new collection from Radley too, their bags are to die for! As spring isn't yet over hot there is some layering going on but who isn't a fan of chic layering?

Coat from Topshop £79.00
Embroidered Shirt from Zara £39.99
Trousers from Topshop £40
Radley Bag £169.00
Shoes from Missguided £30.00

My third outfit inspo for you is this more neutral coloured outfit but still some of my favourite colours. Grey isn't a colour I have really worn until recently but now I love it and love how chic it looks, a little bit brighter than black so of course it's ok for spring. I live in dark colours in winter but now we are getting brighter so are my outfits. Loving these shoes from Missguided too so fresh for spring and amazing with dresses or jeans.

Duster Jacket from Topshop £58.00
Dress from Miss Selfridge £25.00
Radley Bag £199.00
Shoes from Missguided £45.00

I hope this gives you some outfit inspo ready for some sunny weather or just some nice eye candy for the evening, I just think I need everything in this post. BIG spring crushes.

Eye Candy

So much eye candy around in the fashion bubble right now so had to put all my most wanted items into a photo to see what I'm working with. Can't wait to get my hands on these, even in autumn these will be amazing elements to so many outfits!

Totally head over heels in love with the Classy Winchester watch in Rose Gold by Daniel Wellington, and with the Swarovski details on the face it can add glam to autumn outfits or get some shine in the last few weeks of summer.

Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs is my latest craving. Found it at the Heathrow Airport and haven't stopped thinking about it since. This is huge must to even lighten up those dark and rainy days.

As for this beautiful bag the blue Hinge Plate Holdall from TopShop is just the perfect bad I've been searching for. Big enough to fit the blogging essentials in but small enough to compliment even the most delicate of outfits. Both the blue and black are gorgeous so I recommend you check these out! (Hopefully you can spot this bag in future shoots once I have my hands on it.)

Also from TopShop, the Wide Brim Fedora Hat is perfect for days where you leave your hair and brave the world. The perfect accessory for coming autumn and stay looking classy with this paired with a cute white shirt. Evenings out with the girls for a few cocktails would be the perfect time to show off this piece.

Last but definitely not least these wonderful white heels from Missguided. Clara White Strappy Sandals can team up with some pale blue jeans and get your wear out of them with the last few weeks of summer before the rain hits. So stylish and just the cutest pair of heels that go with everything! Fantastic for delicate dresses or just with jeans and a blazer to create a more sophisticated casual look.
