Rock Envy Hair Crush

The most fun I've had on a shoot to date was a recent shoot for Rock Envy Hair Extensions. I've never had the need to buy extensions as I have long hair and wearing them to make my hair thicker, had volume and bounce never even crossed my mind...until I wore the Vibrant Auburn RockEnvy Volumiser piece and I fell in love with how amazing my hair felt. It was thick and full, not to mention a perfect colour match to add tones through my hair. With only the highest quality hair used, it wasn't surprising that it genuinely felt like my own hair and I couldn't even find them when it came to taking them out.

For those of you who use hair extensions for length, volume or whatever reason look no further, I wouldn't recommend anyone else. It was super easy to style into my hair and held like normal hair, it was amazing how the curls were falling as fast as my actual hair into lush loose waves...as you can tell it looks like completely natural hair on all the models. Gorgeous pieces in different sizes for different application and also the most beautiful clip in hair accessories with blue feathers, perfect for festivals.

Find your perfect extensions on ROCKENVY's website or their facebook page!

Definitely my summer must have!

Sherbet Lemon

Here is a little bit fun for you all today. My lovely friend is working with sweet themes for a project at the moment and chose me to be lemon sherbet. I'm not too good with angry faces but this was such a fun shoot and was totally out my comfort zone. This was also planned before I dyed my hair back (sorry again Jordan) so it would have fitted so much better when I was blonde but I think the red hair makes it all that more fierce. I love doing over the top shoots like this with bright colours and wacky themes.

I feel so lucky to be living somewhere that I'm surrounded by creative people who let me get involved with projects I never usually would be involved in. It's amazing to hear peoples ideas and aims, I find it just rubs off on me to work even harder. Always surround yourself with like minded people who inspire you to chase your dreams.

Watch this space for more photography from Jordan Kilford on here with some fashion outfits for fivefootfour. In the mean time you can check his work out here: www.jordankilford.photography/

Generic Selfie

Everyone loves a selfie these days so here are a couple in my lovely playsuit with freshly dyed hair. Love getting back to being auburn, it's finally sunk in and I'm getting used to it after the first few weeks of initial shock. I am determind to wear this over christmas even though its summery but I love the colours and with high boots, long socks or tights and a jacket I'm sure it can be wintery too.

After being blonde for years trying to hide my red hair I finally decided to embrace it and be who I am. Will be posting a serious blog post about why this was such a hard decision soon, a chance to get to know me a little better and a chance for those of you who are feeling insecure to maybe get some advice and help from it, I hope.

(Ignore my bruised knee, too much rum punch is never a good idea.)

Fresh Hair

Good monday everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend. Just a little post today to show off the colour of my freshly done hair. As my hair was blonde for so long it's going to take a few treatments to make it back to my natural auburn colour. This is the second application I've had and I LOVE the colour. Obviously it's a lot more rich that natural as it will fade pretty quick but change isn't always a bad thing.

I did take these yesterday as you've probably seen on my Instagram but I thought it'd pop them on here anyway. You all know I love sundays I don't know why it's always so relaxed, stress free and just a day of things I enjoy (and pjs). If you have a good sunday it sets you up for a good week. Excuse my no make up face but I my skin isn't horrific at the moment so thought I'd take advantage while I can. Looking forward to doing some shoots with my freshly red hair soon.

Big thankyou again to Joanne Innis at Capella Hair Salon in Truro for taking care of me and giving me lovely hair!

Four Future Fantasies

After having chats this week about where I want to be in a year, 3 years and 5 years time it got me thinking about visuals that I could share with you guys and let you into a little bit more about me. So here are my top 4 things that I want to be able to own for myself in the future.

I've ALWAYS been a massive dog lover and I do have a beautiful dog at home called Lottie, she's an English Setter. However I have always wanted a little dog as I'm not exactly big myself. So of course it has to be a French Bulldog or a pug...eventually both so they can keep each other company. How cute are they though? Life is never compete without a dog, they are the most innocent and genuine animals that you can trust with everything...apart from furniture when they are puppies!

Transport for me is a big thing that I would love to earn for myself. On the cheaper end I'd love to have a cute duck egg blue bike to ride around on, on days where I want to go exploring or just for some exercise. I think bikes are massively underrated but it does help if you have a bit of style while you're doing it. And on the car front, I love the fiat 500, they are just such a beautiful shape and design. However if I can ever afford one it will be the original style fiat 500. Perfect little run around and perfect size for me. I love driving and when I'm not I miss it so to have my own pretty little car would be a dream. (Of course I love my current car...it's just not my dream car)

With a bit of hard work, determination and big dreams, anything is possible...so keep dreaming big and push yourself. You never know your full potential!

AUTUMN HAIR HAS ARRIVED!

The new autumn look is here and I couldn't be happier with the result. As a natural red head I thought it was time to embrace the auburn hair and get a whole new look ready for my favourite season.

I want to say a HUGE thank you to Joanne Innis at Capella Hair Salon in Truro for spending so much time with me the last week with planning colours, tests and of course creating such an amazing colour for me. I have to say that this is the prettiest hair salon I've ever been to, with crystal chandeliers, vintage mirrors and of course beautiful fairy lights all set in a wedding building in Truro called Princes House. A very fitting name as I was treated like a princess all day and I couldn't have asked for a better team on this big change.

After 5 hours of pretreatments and eventually getting the colour on, dried and styled it was such an exciting day. I am so thankful to have such talented and highly experienced ladies with me all day; I am so grateful. If any of you out there are looking for somewhere trustworthy to get your hair coloured, styled, cut or if you have a special day coming up and need wedding hair done this is the only place I would recommend.

Thankyou again ladies, now I'm all ready for new shoots this autumn!

And thank you to Olivia Bossert for the photos!

The Autumn Change

Today is the day of the big change! Autumn is by far my favourite season, filled with adventure, the most beautiful colours and cold enough to start wearing oversized knits. It's the perfect time to embrace the autumn colours and have a much needed change. So excited to see the results and of course as soon as it's all done I will be sharing the new look with you all. Time to go back to my roots....literally!

Autumn Hair Process

Literally so excited and nervous I could pop! The day is nearly here so I thought I would show you all the amazing process I have been doing with the very talented hairdresser Joanne Innis, at Capella Salon in Truro. It's found in Princess House and words cannot describe just how beautiful it is in there. As you may have guessed by now, yes my hair is changing, no more blonde, which I'm a little bit sad about. But change is always a good thing.

As much hair is so blonde at the moment we have done a strand test to see how the different colours in my hair will react to the new colour. Scary as it looks little strands of my hair were cut off for these tests, although you can't tell at all. Then the colour was applied to all and left for the required amount of time...you will have to check in tomorrow to see the final result!
